Well, it happened!

Hey Guys

Hope we are all good, can’t believe the weekend is almost over, boo!

Well, what I said would happen happened.  Not gonna make excuses I am a bad blogger and should be scolded (slaps hand).

I can’t believe I posted my first ever blog post in May and my second in December!  So much has happened since then.

First off lets start with why I am posting my second post.  Apart from the obvious, one, I have a new obsession at the moment and that is YouTube.  I’ve been watching a lot of Disney World Vlogs (for preparation/inspiration/junkie fix) and I stumbled across a YouTuber (Ellie Steadman - Ellie's YouTube Channel) and I am obsessed with her channel (going through her videos currently).  She is an awesome YouTuber who also has her own beauty blog (Ellie's Ramblings) and watching her has inspired me to start my blog back up and also try and persue vlogging.  Check out her Blog and Channel, such good fun to watch J

Favourite YouTubers
I have also been watching some other Channels and will link them for you below.  If you have any suggestions, please do feel free to comment and recommend.

  • Tom & Sophie - Brit couple who love Disney as much as me Tom & Sophie
  • See Ya Reel Soon - US couple who also love Disney and go alot!  See Ya Reel Soon
One major change that occurred this year, I quit my job of 8 years!!!  Scary as it was, it was the right thing to do.  I had been unhappy for a while and for the past year it had only gotten worse (new office manager was just too much and it felt like being back at school).  So I handed in my notice at the end of August without a job to go to after!!!  Bad I know, but things have worked out and I am much happier now.

I managed to somehow get the whole of September off, which was a good thing as I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do.  Currently, I am now working part time Mon-Weds 9:30am to 2:30pm which suits me down to the ground, I get a 4 day weekend and its down the road from home!  Right I’ll stop talking about it as I know I am very lucky to be in this situation work wise and I don't want to seem like I'm bragging.

We did go to Paris for my birthday in July and we had the most amazing time. I didn’t think I would love Paris as much as I did and I cannot wait to go back again one day.  It saddens me what happened recently, but it made my heart swell with pride how everyone came together and basically said “eff-you” we are strong and will always be strong and stand together no matter what you throw at us.

The Eiffel Tower

Malcesine, Lake Garda
In October we went to Lake Garda (We got married here in 2011) for Dave’s 30th and had an amazing time.  Nice and relaxing and I threw in a surprise day trip to Venice, which was also amazing and I cannot wait to plan a trip back one day.  Dave wasn’t that keen, which I found weird.  He said it was too busy and touristy, but I tried to keep us away from that apart from a Gondola ride and St Marks Square.  Ah well can’t please everyone.

Our tree
Disney Ornaments
Christmas is well underway in our house.  It’s my favourite time of year, apart from Halloween.  The tree is up and the living room is partially decorated.  Still need to put some stuff up upstairs, but looks pretty good as we have never really decorated the house apart from just having a tree.  Have you guys been naughty or nice this year?  Lists been sent off to Santa?

Next year we are definitely going to Walt Disney World in September and we cannot wait.  14 nights of pure Disney (still uhm-ing and ah-ing about Universal as I am also a big Harry Potter fan) and we are going to make the most of every single second we are there.  So expect lots of posts about planning etc.

Well I think I will end here for now, but I hope to see you in the next post and as always thanking you for reading and please feel free to comment.

Ciao for now
Stefy xxx
